junior Siang Zi steps up into new roles for her upcoming school year

High school is widely seen as a time to try out new activities, create new friendships, and figure out what you are passionate about. Many start with high expectations and full schedules. Junior Siang Zi unexpectedly found her passion after joining her high school’s yearbook staff. Not long into the program she discovered her passion for journalism.

“As a sophomore when I joined I had no idea it was this much responsibility when I joined,” Zi said. “I’m so glad I did it because it’s actually something I’m passionate about.”

Her first year on staff Zi was just a regular staffer but her second year of staff will include a higher position.
