New Beginnings, New Obstacle

Senior Juhee Tyagi reaches for a flower. Tyagi loved the change in color through the flower because it reminded her of her change in show choir groups.

Walking into a new show choir group, Juhee Tyagi finds it nerve-racking to sing alongside boys for the first time.

Senior Juhee Tyagi’s class was the first to experience the new show choir group.

“At first, I felt very intimidated by the idea of having a mixed show choir group of both girls and boys. I was used to a sisterhood relationship from my previous show choir group, Allegro. Allegro provided me with multiple opportunities with supportive friends and healthy competition,” Tyagi said.

Getting more comfortable with the show choir group, Juhee experienced a different bond than before.

Jasa Triplett is a senior at Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, IN.

 Jasa Triplett is 17 years old and is a senior at Hamilton Southeastern. Family is vital to her, going as far as saying they are her inspiration.  

 Jasa has a large family of two siblings and a half-brother. She has a close relationship with her family, despite the fact her siblings are much older than her. Jasa has a sister and brother who are 24 and 23. Even though Jasa is much younger than her siblings she has always found a way to bond with them.

Striking a pose, Erin Lock ’25 shows off her creative outfit in Franklin Hall. Lock enjoys wearing gothic colors and cottagecore clothing styles.

Erin Lock is a 17 year old and an incoming senior at Hamilton Southeastern High School. She has a compact clothing style. It’s not all over the place, like some of our clothing styles are. Sometimes you just throw on an outfit and leave for the day, other times you just actually take the time and choose. Not Erin though.

She gets her clothing from her grandma and other cute antique boutiques. Her mom also supplied her with clothes that match her cottage-core and goth clothing style.
