AI is a contentious topic for creatives in 2025, so when prompted to create a documentary, I wanted to both spotlight one of IU’s gems, Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Museum of Art, and get the opinions of both professionals and passerby on AI art. My partner (Reah Frydrych) and I reached out to the museum’s media director and was fortunately able to set up an interview with Keaton Evans-Black, the Arts-based Wellness Experiences Manager. With the assistance of museum visitors, I was able to fully explore different perspectives on what art means to people, what constitutes art, and why art will continue to connect with people in the future.
