Abe Brown, a documentary production student from Bloomington High School South attending HSJI, chose to focus his project on student workers who remain on campus over the summer instead of traveling or spending time with family. He and his partner aimed to capture a broad range of experiences by interviewing one student working at Starbucks and another at a hotel, both connected to Indiana University. They asked each subject the same set of questions, collected supporting B-roll footage, and edited the documentary using Adobe Premiere Pro.
