Of all the assignments and workshops we have done, this is the one I liked the most. Since I read what to do, I was always thinking about what pictures I could take. I took a picture of everything I saw. When I had to select the photos I realized how many photos I had taken. Selecting them was a bit difficult because sometimes I had to choose between 3 completely different photos. Even so, I really enjoyed having to think about what each word conveyed to me and how I could reflect it in a photo.
Also, having to take so many photos at different times and of different things, I have applied quite a few techniques. For each photo the camera is set in a different way, each photo has an angle, and they are taken at different times of the day and in different places. Also, according to what we have learned in this unit, once I had the photos selected, I cropped almost all of them according to the theory we studied.
I am very happy with my photos because I think that, although, in a personal way, they reflect those words. In all my photos I wanted to reflect things of my day-to-day life in the United States because it has been a very good experience. All the things and people that I have photographed perfectly represent my experience because they either reflect what I do and see on a daily basis or the people that surround me here. Also, last week I went to Chicago, and I took the opportunity to take several photos for this assignment.
