My plans for taking photos this weekend got all messed up but it worked out somewhat. The ones of Gie were from the week before when she went to the Greenhouse, and I just followed her around the space taking photos of her inspecting the plants. There wasn’t anyone around for her to talk with about her event, so she was just looking at the plants for her own interests. She would stop and pose and once in a while and I got some good posed portraits of her during this shoot with some very nice natural light coming from the windows.

Katherine’s shoot was a last minute thing. Since there are no events for me to photograph her in action, I just wanted her to show me where they keep all their equipment and posters from their protests. She took me to this closet near the student government office and theyhad a huge stack of cardboard posters that they have used throughout their protests. Apparently they used to just be kept at someone’s house before they were able to get this space. I followed her around as she walked arouund with a couple of the signs throughout the IMU, again taking some posed portraits along the way.

I was unable to get either of their meetings because:

Katherine’s got cancelled due to the poweroutage on Thursday. They rescheduled the meeting for next semester since no one is availabe or willing to attend this week and next week.

Gie did not end up going to lunch with her coworkers and supervisors on Saturday because she ended up breaking her elbow Thursday night when she went rollerskating. So she was at the ER and then the doctor’s office for a while. So you will most likely see her in a sling in my latest photos.
