I actually snapped this photo while passing by a balcony that caught my eye in Amalfi coast. There was a barred door in front of this entry way but I put my iPhone camera lens through the bars to take this photo because I thought the composition of it was very special… it is still my background on my phone to this day. I chose to use this photo because I really like the way the photo was framed. I feel like there’s layer to this photo but in a very subtle way. In the chapter we learn about shooting horizontally vs. vertically as well as the importance of framing. I like that this photo is taken vertically because it really leads your eyes to the view in the back ground in the middle of the photo. I also think that the flower pots add an interesting composition making it not too perfect geometrically.
