An important concept from this chapter was obviously framing. And not just using things in your photo to frame, but making sure your subject(s) are in the right angle and way for the photo itself to be properly framed. I chose this photo because I think it shows a example of natural framing while also highlighting some other features from the chapter.  I took this photo the other day during our workshop and at the time was struggling with how to use the trees and how much to show of the trees. But this actually worked in my favor for this assignment because I decided to highlight to vertical length of the subjects in the photo. There is a section in this chapter called “vertical subjects in horizontal frames” and this is obviously an example of that. In the book they show some pots stacked on top of each other to create vertical lines and a boy in front of it. But I think this photo meets the same requirements as that one. The trees create vertical lines going throughout the photo and in a way makes the person look shorter but also features their vertical stance. Another thing that I like about this photo is the different angles of the trees. There are many layers added because of the different angles. It still features the vertical lines but gives it some variety. Another section of this chapter is called frames within frames and I think this photo obviously features a frame within the photo frame as stated before and also draws the eye to the person walking through the frame. Overall I think this photo is a good representation of using frames and also lines that you wouldn’t usually see in photos like this.
