I think this workshop has been the most beneficial so far. I really enjoyed learning how to deal with shutter speed and how it effects blurred versus frozen action. I think it helped me to prepare for the sports shoot that we are doing in the future. At first, I struggled understanding blurred action and I think that shows through in my photo. After talking with Dr. Comfort, he helped me adjust my shutter speed to be a lot lower than I thought it should have been. This is the best photo I could get since it was closer to the end of class. I think I should have taken more time to take blurred background photos. I chose my favorite photo as the man riding the bike with no handlebars. I think I like this photos because it has a lot of leading lines that draws my attention to the biker. I cropped the photo in just a bit and I think it helped to set the biker on the rule of thirds. I am looking forward to shooting field hockey because I think I learned how to better control action through this workshop and I am looking forward to putting those skills into action.
