Before starting this workshop, I was unsure of how to use certain lightings to take cool photos, but Mereydth and I practiced using side light, front light, and continuously trying all angles to understand the types of photos we could take. The reason I enjoyed this photo is because It captures great light by her face. I love that it darkens one side of her face, but it is clearer on the other. Side light is important because it brings out the features that you couldn’t see much before.
