This project was difficult for many different reasons. One of the primary reasons was that the subject didn’t move. This made it a bit difficult to make differing and interesting photos out of the subject at hand. I will say, most of my photojournalism experience has relied on staying in one place while my subject has moved around, and I capture those movements/actions. I know for the most part, the subjects I am making pictures of will move around and give me more diverse shots; whether I move with them/against them.
I know boredom was supposed to be what I was working against, but I was able to go without that at any point. My brain was trying to work with the room around me, and distract me from outside information it was taking in. Working with my camera, I was able to capture distinctly different images and make it seem like a more interesting subject than what it actually was.
