Workshop 7 – Wides !

During. this lab I learned how to take wide angle photos. Wide angle photos are very interesting and we don’t always think to take them in photography but when you decide to use them and you learn how to use them right, it can make for a very interesting and effective photograph. These photos usually tell a story about an entire physical scene and scenario as they encompass not only the subject but every inch of the frame of what is going on around them.

I had a lot of fun practicing with wide photos and as I am writing this late and reflecting on how I used this concept after we learned about it, I realized that I began to start to take a lot of wide photos after we learned how to in class. I really enjoy these types of photos and the almost funky element that they hold. I enjoy how they feel like almost some kind of inverted fish-eye picture and I think that they can turn out very interesting.
