Razan Omar is a junior at Indiana University, where she is pursuing a double major in journalism and theatre. Within the media school, Razan focuses on reporting & editing and specializes in broadcast journalism, while in the theatre department, her passion lies in directing. Razan has also chosen a minor in photography. She is interested in the artistic and creative aspects of storytelling. Currently, Razan is gaining hands-on experience through a production internship with Indiana Public Media, actively contributing to the production of Indiana NewsDesk every week. Simultaneously, she works as a schedule director at WTIU, where her responsibilities include directing newsbreaks.
