On the first IU NewsNet of the semester, we have reaction to the murder of prominent right-wing activist Charlie Kirk who was to appear at IU next month. Now a Dunn Meadow candlelight vigil is planned. The killing has sparked discourse on the importance of free speech nationwide. But a recent ranking listed IU near the bottom when it comes to free speech. We’ll examine the reasons why. IU and other universities go from discouraging the use of AI to encouraging it in the classroom. We’ll explain tbe parameters.
