My name is Josie Broyles, and I am a dynamic and dedicated third-year student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism at The Media School, at Indiana University. My coursework at The Media School has equipped me with a solid foundation in journalistic principles, media ethics, and the technical skills required for effective storytelling. From conducting interviews to crafting compelling scripts, I thrive on the fast-paced, ever-evolving nature of broadcast journalism.
Outside the classroom, I actively engage with campus media organizations and projects to further hone my skills. Such as IU Student Television, Big Ten Student U, and my greek organization. Whether reporting live updates for University athletic teams, or collaborating with fellow students on multimedia projects, I am committed to hands-on learning and growth.
I believe in the strength of collaboration and actively seek opportunities to connect with professionals, faculty, and fellow students. I am eager to learn from industry experts and contribute my skills to impactful projects that align with my journalistic values.
