Lauren McLaughlin is an aspiring news producer and senior from Pendleton, Indiana. Her major is journalism with a concentration in news reporting and editing with a minor in Spanish. She is an Ernie Pyle Scholar at Indiana University and has worked for the Indiana Daily Student. She has experience in criminal justice and economy news, but her heart lies with social justice, arts and feature stories.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys playing with her dogs, reading and spending time with family and friends. She plans to graduate in spring 2023.
