I am currently a student at Indiana University, studying Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Music.

My passion for storytelling began in high school when I joined my school’s broadcast team, Spartan 2 News, during my sophomore year. With no prior media experience, I quickly discovered how much I loved working behind the camera, editing videos, and sharing stories that connected my school and community.

Working in a collaborative, newsroom-style environment was one of my favorite parts of the experience. As a leader on the team, I learned to stay informed about everything happening across athletics, the arts, special education, and faculty initiatives. Those experiences taught me the value of listening to and learning from people outside my own circles—something I continue to carry into my work today as a student journalist.
