IU NewsNet 12/3/2020

From Chicago to San Diego, We close out our IU NewsNet semester from our “home studios.” IU Football rebounds after the heartbreaking injury to star quarterback Michael Penix. Students sound off about when and whether they’ll get the COVID vaccine, and IU’s end-of-semester pandemic plan of online only through the first two weeks of the Spring semester. Seniors have some jitters about landing that first job after graduation amidst COVID-19. Some political heavy-hitters round out an international conference at IU’s School of Global and International Studies.
Students have a scaled-down Thanksgiving, including our reporter Lexi Vennetti with an 11-pound reason for change that has nothing to do with the turkey.
And we have two solid sports features: a women’s basketball player who rode out the first of the pandemic in Latvia, and a profile on the legacy and legend surrounding IU soccer coach Todd Yeagley.
Joins our intrepid team of reporters and anchors from IU NewsNet “on the road.”
