This week we have a story we think you should watch. Ken Beckley is a familiar face in central Indiana, a former journalist and broadcaster, a beloved IU alumnus, and now, a COVID survivor mourning the sudden loss of his wife to the virus. Audrey Beckley died just a week after getting sick. Ken and Audrey funded our studio at IU. They’ve befriended a multitude of students. His message to reporter Lexi Vennetti is about love, grieving, and COVID vigilance at every age.
We’ll also take you to the Bloomington Breonna Taylor protest, a massive fire that burned five southside Bloomington homes, as well as new COVID numbers on campus and reaction to the return of Big Ten sports.
