New IUSG ticket wants to “Bridge” the community together

Makenzie North and Mihir Barot are running for IU Student Government’s highest executive spots, President and Vice President, and have started the new Bridge campaign for the 2019 election season.

If elected, they plan to “Bridge” the gap between various student groups and administration on campus. The three key areas of interest that the ticket is focused on include, Safety and Well-being, Diversity and Inclusiveness, and Student Opportunities.

Megan Miller and Sai Mandala have also joined the Bridge team.

The other ticket running against Bridge is also new to the ballot this year and they are called Vision. They plan to understand and research the issues on campus that students currently face.

The election will take place over a two-day period starting Wednesday, March 27th through Thursday, March 28th. IU students will receive an email on the first day of the election with a link to vote.
