STUDIO 5 SOUNDSTAGE BACK TO ONE
AND FLOOR PLANS
MAIN PRODUCTION COURSE FLOOR PLAN
BACK TO ONE
Please follow the “Back to One” plan for the bar set. This is where class instruction takes place. Ensure all class chairs are stacked on the carts just outside the set when class is finished. Make sure all bar tables and chairs are moved back to their stored locations so the next class can have a clean slate to start, and everyone walks into the same clean studio every time. It’s not fair for one class to have to clean and move tables before they can start class, be respectful and store everything in the proper locations.
ROLLER WALLS
WALLS MOVED
The two sections with red arrows can be moved out of the way to move furniture or large props in and out of the soundstage. These could also be moved to achieve different camera angles that would otherwise be difficult or impossible to get. The sections with blue arrows can all be moved to get different camera angles or to create space for an exit such as a restroom or kitchen in the bar set as seen in the bar set sample layouts.
RESTAURANT LAYOUT
The restaurant set can be arranged many ways as needed. These floorplans serve as ideas or starting points for scripts and productions in this space. Other ideas for the space include a comedy club or performance bar that are on the following pages. **NOTE: If you move furniture around for a production, please ensure it gets put back to the “Back to One” plan when finished.
The roller walls can be moved as highlighted by the red arrows to create extra space in the bar for restrooms or a kitchen. They could be moved out of the way for certain camera angles as needed as well.

LIVING ROOM LAYOUT
Aside from the standard apartment layout shown in the “back to one” layout, here is another
layout option for that space that could easily be achieved with the furniture that is in that space
as well as a couple items from the scene shop. The following ideas such as a studio apartment
or a basic dorm room would require extra furniture items, but if projects were approved for
those layouts, appropriate props can be obtained. Again, these serve only as starting points and
the space can be adjusted as needed. **NOTE: If you move furniture around for a production,
please ensure it gets put back to the “Back to One” plan when finished.
