Ashton Hackman is a multimedia journalist studying Broadcast Journalism at the Media School at Indiana University and has a minor in Spanish. Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Ashton graduated from Homestead High School, where he was a reporter and anchor for their student-run newscast.

Ashton is the Programming Director for IU Student Television, an all-student run television station at Indiana University. He also serves as a producer for the soft news program, “What’s Up Weekly,” and is also a reporter and anchor for IUSTV News.

In his free time you can find him listening to podcasts, golfing, and going on walks with his dog, Yogi.
