The Graduate hotel, located on Kirkwood Avenue, is officially open. The hotel has been under construction for months and has stopped foot traffic along the way. It has caught the eye of Bloomington residents as it stands six stories tall and is in close proximity to campus. The hotel has 150 rooms available for those guests looking to stay the night in Bloomington.  The hotel is gearing its marketing toward family and friends of students as well as IU alumni.

The Bloomington website says it the city hosts an average of three million visitors annually. According to Hotel News Resources, this fact, along with Bloomington’s rich history and dynamic culture drew the company to Bloomington to open its thirteenth hotel here. The hotel is decorated in unique ways to reflect Bloomington traditions and events.
