On Saturday night, September 15th, Bloomington police say a disgruntled employee vandalized the restaurant Juannita’s. Police arrested Michael Cole, who witnesses say showed up at closing time–1 a.m.–and initiated a loud verbal dispute with management..

Police say as Cole left, he destroyed signs, pots and plants outside of the restaurant. No customers witnessed the incident, but fellow employees say they were worried the outburst could have escalated. Employee Natalie Lake says she was concerned for her employers at the time.

Police arrested on charges of criminal mischief, resisting law enforcement and battery against a public safety officer.
