Indiana Volleyball had a perfect weekend finishing up non-conference play. They went 3-0 against EKU, Cincinatti, and Xavier.

But their record isn’t the only thing new head coach Steve Aird is changing. He’s changing the entire atmosphere of IU Volleyball.
On top of the brand new facility that IU Volleyball is set up to play in this season, they also plan to have a new kind of fan base there. Aird is requesting not the entire band, like usual, but just the drumline to show up at games. He also is doing away with the cheerleaders at games, instead he just wants them there in normal IU clothing, cheering on his team like a normal IU fan.
For the home opener this Friday, they will hand out long sleeve t-shirts to the first 250 people who attend. Steve Aird hopes to make the atmosphere at games more fun for his team and the fans, something completely different than last season.
