Making a difference through media

I’ve always wanted to make an impact on the world, and my time in L.A. has allowed me to use my skill set in animation, graphics and video production to make a difference. Not only have I been lucky enough to create content that is actually seen by the public, but many of my clients are making the world a better place.

At DNA, the marketing agency I intern at, I worked with a former NFL player to develop graphics and animations for a charity-based fantasy football app he’s developed. Rather than playing to win money, players compete for donations to different charities, and in turn they receive exclusive experiences with professional athletes.

For another project, I produced graphic and video content for a nanotechnology company that is developing a revolutionary kind of solar panel to reduce the effects of global warming.

L.A. has given me opportunities in just the three months I’ve been here than I thought I’d have within years of graduating. When the semester is over, I’ll be ready to take on the world and leave my mark.
