Short but sweet experience

My time in Los Angeles was the bomb.com. I interned for the Donners’ Company, and I actually met Richard Donner and his wife Lauren. They produced the “The Goonies,” all the “X-Men” films and many more popular movies.

I was also the first public relations intern for The Dream Sprint, where I worked closely with the CEO Daria Tsvenger. Tsvenger has been featured on TV shows such as “Good Morning LaLa Land” and “Simulation,” and in major publications such as Vogue, ThriveGlobal and Forbes. More than 30,000 passionate dreamers are following Tsvenger’s work, and I am glad to say I was able to help her achieve her media coverage goals.

Outside of my internships, I loved exploring different places in L.A., such as the J. Paul Getty Museum. This was a wonderful experience, because I learned the history about how the museum was built.

The museum is mostly known for its architecture and gardens. My favorite garden was the Center Garden, which lies at the heart of the museum. It provided an extraordinary experience of sights, sounds and scents. The plants were beautiful and made me feel like I was in paradise. The garden’s dynamic and beautiful landscape made me feel happy and blessed, and a little more in tune with earth. It helped me realize that there is so much more to life.

I also visited the Broad Museum located in downtown L.A. The Broad is a contemporary art museum full of inspiring and warm art, including works by my favorite artist, Jean-Michael Basquiat.

I also went to the beach in San Pedro. This beach is unique, because it was the first private land grant in Southern California. At 23 years old, this was only my third visit to a beach.

My two classmates, Mary Claghorn and Sara Sun, and I decided to go despite the chilly weather. Mary, who is a photographer, took pictures of Sara, who is an aspiring model. I learned how a camera works and the best angles to take pictures. Ever since that trip, I take pictures everywhere I go.

Overall, my short experience in L.A. was wonderful, and I would do it all over again.
