Jaleesa Elliott

Jaleesa Elliott is a sophomore at Indiana University. She is studying journalism, specializing in news writing and graphic communication. She is an editorial staff member of SEASON, an independent fashion magazine on campus. In the future, she hopes to work in the Northeast as a journalist or graphic designer for a magazine or newspaper publication. In her free time, she enjoys talking about music and pop culture, as well as writing and graphic design.

Salon Reflections

Salon Reflections is one of the few black owned and operated businesses in Madison, Indiana. Kim Edwards, the owner continues to do African-American hair in a town with a black population of only 3 percent, when she could do hair in another city with a higher black population and make more money.
