Megan Seibert

My name is Megan Seibert and I am a sophomore majoring in Marketing with a minor in Media & Creative Advertising and Indiana University. I have always had a passion for graphic design and videography, and have recently started to incorporate these passions into a career path in business. I am currently a member of the professional business fraternity, Phi Gamma Nu, where I was the Graphic Design Manager last semester. I am also currently working in the marketing department at the Indiana Daily Student on campus. In the future, I hope to work for an advertising agency or a start-up company.

If you’re a true Indiana Hoosier, chances are you’ve heard of the largest collegiate bike race in the country that takes place right in the heart of Bloomington, Indiana each April. Fans gather from near and far to participate in what has been considered as the “Greatest College Weekend in America”. Yes, I am talking about the Little 500, where the cyclists who train year-round finally get the chance to put their skills to the ultimate test. Yet while many of us undoubtedly appreciate the race in all its glory from the stands, we can easily overlook the amount of work and training that goes on behind the scenes to makes it all possible.
